- After five years in the making, the first-ever ONI DENIM x Blue Owl collaboration arrives in the form of the "Sleeping Demon" 15.5oz Japanese Selvedge Denim.
Woven on ONI DENIM’s ancient old-world shuttle loom, this collaborative project was designed with the goal of creating a more accessible year-round denim while retaining ONI’s world-famous “secret” texture. By utilizes techniques the brand pioneered over 30 years ago, the final product sports a deceptively subtle appearance from afar, with the denim’s true form revealing itself upon closer inspection. The jeans receive their color from a pure natural indigo dye, which lends a shadowy dark blue color to the denim on day one, and the promise of a classic light wash fade over time. The jacket is treated with the historic Tempi wash process to eliminate shrinkage and create a broken-in feel, and comes equipped with custom hardware and a debossed natural leather patch with collaborative ONI DENIM x Blue Owl branding.
