- The MXGJ1008 jacket from Momotaro is the brands Type-II model, cut in a modern relaxed fit and sewn using raw selvedge denim. Momotaro's 11oz fabric is crafted using Zimbabwe cotton for the warp and Suvin cotton at the weft, woven for comfort while retaining durability. Rope-dyed multiple times to achieve the brand’s signature deep “Tokuno Blue,” the fabric is given a one-wash rinse process to remove shrinkage and soften the fabric. Finished with custom Momotaro hardware and details.

The name Momotaro is born from a famous Japanese folktale, in which a boy born from a giant peach grows up to save his village from marauding demons. The pink selvedge and inseam are an homage to the peach in this story, and the signature battle stripes represent the war flag the boy carried into battle.
